Case's 4th Birthday Party!

My little boy is 4. Omigoodness!! I wish time would slow down. I feel some sadness coming on, I am losing my little man.

His birthday was actually the 3rd but we celebrating this Saturday with a cowboy boy party. We supplied all the little kids with cowboy hats and sheriff badges so they could be cowboys and cowgirls with Case. We had grilled hotdogs and cheesedip. And the big finale was an awesome Ms. Yvonne cake that was cow and bandana print with Case the Cowboy ontop.

The funny thing was that he told everyone that he was getting a big "yeller" combine and a big "yeller" header. We saved that for last and when he opened it he was just beside himself. YEAH! Thanks Mr. Doug, Ms. Janice, Clay, Nini, and Lady!! (The Abels)

We had a blast and it was so much fun. I can't wait until next year. Wait,..... no I can definitly wait because he will be 5!!!

Horses and Cowboys

Trick or Treat! Or as Case the Cowboy would say, "Gimme your candy". We had an awesome fall day. We started off by going and showing BoBo and BaBa how cute cowboys and horses are! Then we went to my Aunt JoAnn's, cousin Shelly, and then to Nana and Papaws house. There is where we finally crashed from exhaustion. (in and out of carseats is hard work, surely for the horse). We ate cheesedip and turkey sandwinches and waited on trick or treaters there. Unfortunely nobody showed while we were there and we was so tired we decided to come on home. Happy Fall!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

The pumpkin patch has been such a big hit with Case that we have been twice. Case absolutely loved it when we went with the school. He ran around like a wild child and picked the perfect pumpkin. (he had to have a green one) He played with all of his friends and went down the huge slide numerous times. He was a little upset when we had to leave so I told him that we would come back again.

That is all that he talked about so we loaded up again this past week and went for a second time and took "Nini and Latie". (my cousin Nikki and her little girl Katie) Caden didn't take to the pumpkin patch and threw a fit on the hayride. He eventually went to sleep and took a much needed nap.

Caden's Birthday Bash!!

Saturday we had Caden's big birthday party. It was so much fun. Lots of Caden's friends came to play and run around. (ooh and to get a sugar high)

LaDonna and I decorated until midnight Friday night and then I still had to get up Saturday morning and blow up a bunch of balloons and pick up the cake. It was a little stressful but all worth it.

Caden was sleepy and was teething so he wasn't in the best mood. He didn't care about gifts or the cake. But I think that everyone else enjoyed it for him.

It was an exciting morning and I can't wait until December for Case's 4th birthday.

1 YEAR!!!!

Wow we made it!! Caden is 1 year old. Where did the year go?? He is crawling, cruising, and getting into everything!! I mean EVERYTHING!! Case has sang "Happy Birthday" to Caden all day long!! I can't wait until Saturday for his big bash!!

Today we also went to the Arkansas County parade!! It was so terribly hot but Case enjoyed every minute of it. After that we went to the fair where we spent all 20 tickets going down the huge slide. My legs totally ache now. We went to see the animals and Case said "Whoa mommy, they poo-pooed", real loud!!!

After the fair we went out to Ameca for some well needed food!! YUMMO!!!

What a fun-filled day!!!

School Time

Case started school last Thursday at First Baptist in Dewitt. He absolutely loves it. Ms. Leah Lacotts is his teacher and I am pretty confident that she will be an awesome teacher. He did great his first day and didn't give me any trouble. When I went back to get him he didn't want to go home. Growing up way too fast!!!

11 Months

Caden is 11 months!! 1 month from the big 1 year old bash!! He now has 6 teeth & loves to use them on me and Case! He hasn't started walking yet but hopefully that will come real soon. We already have his birthday cake ordered and have already had his 1 year pictures taken. We are ready for his birthday party!!!

'08 Rice & Bean Crop

WOW!!! I can't believe that it is almost time for rice & bean harvest. I think Matt said about a month before rice harvest just because they were so late planting it.

Now I have all three of my boys in the picture. It makes me sad that three is as big as it will ever be. Maybe one day Matt will get a soft heart & we will be able to adopt a child. That would be such a miracle.

God works in all kind of ways & changes the hardest of hearts, so I pray every night that he will change Matt to see that every child deserves to have a family to love them.

10 Months & No-No

2 more months until the big 1 year. And then no longer will we have a baby!! We have started telling Caden No-No and he is having a hard time with the words. He puckers up and hollers when you say them. He has started to get around and into everything. He definitely keeps me on my toes.

Case's vocabulary has been expanding and sometimes expanding to words that sometimes shocks me. He uses them as if they are not naughty words. He has started using excuses for everything from I have to pee-pee to my legs hurt. Awfully strange that it all starts when he has to pick up toys or go to bed.

I am feeling a little better but just exhausted by the end of the day. Not sure if it is from surgery or just from running after kids all day. I need a NICE VACATION!!! Maybe one day in about 18 years!! HAHA But I enjoy every minute of it. Wouldn't change a thing!!
