Valentine Party

Yesterday we had Case's Valentine Party at school. He had a blast. They decorated heart shaped cookies with icing and sprinkles. Then they got sent home with lots of candy!!(not so fun for mommy) Caden also got to go and he thought he needed a bite of everyones cookie.

New Year's Resolutions!!

Well, New Year's Resolutions aren't going so good!! First, I had big plans of losing weight, haha. I have gained 2 lbs. Second I had plans of being healthier and not runny to the doctor once a week. Well congratulations Dr. Morgan, we made it 16 days without a visit. We went today because Caden had a sore on his booty and was congestion. He has staph on his booty which was drained. Then we proceeded over to the hospital for x-rays of the chest and found out we have I guess what they would call a mild case of pneumonia. So then we had to go back to Dr. Morgan's and get the other side of the booty poked with a shot of antibiotics. Caden is not happy and I don't blame him I wouldn't be either. Maybe next year!!

Valentine Pics '09

Every year I take valentine pictures to send to family & friends. This was our trial run at it. Caden cried almost the whole time so I had to give him m&m's. I didn't get one of him smiling because he was munching down. Case was good because he patiently waited on his candy. What a good boy.

Case's 4th Birthday Party!

My little boy is 4. Omigoodness!! I wish time would slow down. I feel some sadness coming on, I am losing my little man.

His birthday was actually the 3rd but we celebrating this Saturday with a cowboy boy party. We supplied all the little kids with cowboy hats and sheriff badges so they could be cowboys and cowgirls with Case. We had grilled hotdogs and cheesedip. And the big finale was an awesome Ms. Yvonne cake that was cow and bandana print with Case the Cowboy ontop.

The funny thing was that he told everyone that he was getting a big "yeller" combine and a big "yeller" header. We saved that for last and when he opened it he was just beside himself. YEAH! Thanks Mr. Doug, Ms. Janice, Clay, Nini, and Lady!! (The Abels)

We had a blast and it was so much fun. I can't wait until next year. Wait,..... no I can definitly wait because he will be 5!!!

Horses and Cowboys

Trick or Treat! Or as Case the Cowboy would say, "Gimme your candy". We had an awesome fall day. We started off by going and showing BoBo and BaBa how cute cowboys and horses are! Then we went to my Aunt JoAnn's, cousin Shelly, and then to Nana and Papaws house. There is where we finally crashed from exhaustion. (in and out of carseats is hard work, surely for the horse). We ate cheesedip and turkey sandwinches and waited on trick or treaters there. Unfortunely nobody showed while we were there and we was so tired we decided to come on home. Happy Fall!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

The pumpkin patch has been such a big hit with Case that we have been twice. Case absolutely loved it when we went with the school. He ran around like a wild child and picked the perfect pumpkin. (he had to have a green one) He played with all of his friends and went down the huge slide numerous times. He was a little upset when we had to leave so I told him that we would come back again.

That is all that he talked about so we loaded up again this past week and went for a second time and took "Nini and Latie". (my cousin Nikki and her little girl Katie) Caden didn't take to the pumpkin patch and threw a fit on the hayride. He eventually went to sleep and took a much needed nap.
