New Year's Resolution

Well keeping up with blogging hasn't been my thing for a really long time!! But looking back thru the old ones I wish I would have kept doing it. So New Year's Resolution is to blog at least once a month!!

2011 was a very busy year. I can't even begin to start to tell what all happen. Here are a few......

Case had a go cart accident and had a huge hematoma on his arm and we thought he broke it. Dr did xray and said he was fine!! Whew close call!!

Caden started preschool at First Baptist! Of course the first 3 weeks he screamed and cried when I dropped him off and they had to peel him off me. Glad he is over that.

We took the boys to the beach this summer and they had an absolute blast!! They are already talking about when we go back!!

I had to have gallbladder surgery! Imagine that....Me having to have "another" surgery. Matt took very good care of me!!

Case started 1st grade!! He thinks he is a "know-it-all" now!!

These are a few things that happened this year!!

2012 holds a whole new year with new possibilities in it!! I am starting a weight loss journey that I could eat my arm off!! Yes I am that hungry!! I have to lose 75 pounds! Maybe I should ask about lapband!!

I am already gearing up for another hot Arkansas summer!! Hopefully not as hot as last years!!

I have been trying to plan out a perfect spring vacation.

All of this and its only the first part of January.

Maybe some of things will happen!! I hope at least the lose 75 pound one!! Haha!!

It's been a LONG time!!

I didn't realize how long it has been since I have done a post! My lil' boys aren't so lil' anymore!

Case is now 6 and goes to kindergarten. He loves it and absorbs everything the teacher says. Then he comes home and teaches Caden and me!! He is so loveable and full of questions! Every night he tells me " Mommy, I love you to the moon and back " and it still melts my heart everytime he tells me that!! He loves farming and hopes to grow up one day to be a dirty farmer man!! That is his exact words!! LOL

Caden is 3 and well..........what a mess he is! I feel real sorry for his teachers when he starts school!! Heehee!! He is all out boy and is stubborn to the bone! But he has a sweet side that is so irresistable. He wants to grow up to be an airplane driver! Those are his exact words also!! He loves to do anything he isn't suppose to! LOL He is into farming and I always seem to step on his fields. Oops!!

The joys of being a mother to two rowdy boys that are vocal in their own little ways and to have to patiences to deal with every mess and fight and enjoy every minute of it. Because I have a gut feeling one day I am going to miss this alot!

Oh and then there is Matt!! Well he is Matt and his heart and mind revolves around farming! I think it was breed into these Davis' boys!! He is such an awesome dad and the boys adore him and so excited to see him come home every evening. Recently Matt has taken on construction and I look thru the window and see the frustration boiling in him so I think that he better stick with farming!! LOL He is also an awesome hubby!! We joke with each other that we have a love/hate relationship!! But everynight we are sure to say "I love yous" before we drift off to sleep!!

And for me...well I am so busy chasing kids and taking care of housecleaning that I don't do much else!! You hear everyone say "Take time for yourself" but when I do I can't keep thinking about the boys and how much fun we could be having so this rarely happens. I love my life and although some days are so hard that I could scream; I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thomas the Train

Every lil' boys dream is to get to meet Thomas the Train & that is exactly what Case got to do. Since Case was 2 he has been in love with Thomas the Train. We have literally 30 movies and train tracks to galore. There is nothing Thomas the Train that we don't have!!
I drove 8 hours with mom & dad to Chattanooga Tennessee to the Tennessee Railroad. What an experience!! Case was in "heaven". We took a 25 minute ride on Thomas and got to meet Sir Thompan Hat!! So much fun we had!!

New Year's Resolutions!!

Well, New Year's Resolutions aren't going so good!! First, I had big plans of losing weight, haha. I have gained 2 lbs. Second I had plans of being healthier and not runny to the doctor once a week. Well congratulations Dr. Morgan, we made it 16 days without a visit. We went today because Caden had a sore on his booty and was congestion. He has staph on his booty which was drained. Then we proceeded over to the hospital for x-rays of the chest and found out we have I guess what they would call a mild case of pneumonia. So then we had to go back to Dr. Morgan's and get the other side of the booty poked with a shot of antibiotics. Caden is not happy and I don't blame him I wouldn't be either. Maybe next year!!

Valentine Pics '09

Every year I take valentine pictures to send to family & friends. This was our trial run at it. Caden cried almost the whole time so I had to give him m&m's. I didn't get one of him smiling because he was munching down. Case was good because he patiently waited on his candy. What a good boy.

Case's 4th Birthday Party!

My little boy is 4. Omigoodness!! I wish time would slow down. I feel some sadness coming on, I am losing my little man.

His birthday was actually the 3rd but we celebrating this Saturday with a cowboy boy party. We supplied all the little kids with cowboy hats and sheriff badges so they could be cowboys and cowgirls with Case. We had grilled hotdogs and cheesedip. And the big finale was an awesome Ms. Yvonne cake that was cow and bandana print with Case the Cowboy ontop.

The funny thing was that he told everyone that he was getting a big "yeller" combine and a big "yeller" header. We saved that for last and when he opened it he was just beside himself. YEAH! Thanks Mr. Doug, Ms. Janice, Clay, Nini, and Lady!! (The Abels)

We had a blast and it was so much fun. I can't wait until next year. Wait,..... no I can definitly wait because he will be 5!!!
